    Monalisa has close to 20 years of communications experience and has been responsible for the development of flagship communications strategies. These include the repositioning strategy for Nedbank, ACSA during the FIFA 2010 World Cup, SAA with a focus on a turn around strategy, Old Mutual iWYZE and Fundi (previously Eduloan). Monalisa has played a key role in crisis communications management providing support at EXCO level. In addition she is called upon as a speaker for both business and communications workshops. Monalisa is the founding member of Riverbed, a company built through hard work, professionalism and a reputation for excellent delivery. Monalisa is currently completing her Masters in Business Administration with Henley.

    Leon has over 21 years of experience at some of the top advertising agencies in South Africa. This includes working as an Art Director and later Copywriter on FMCG, financial services, telecommunications, luxury
    and lifestyle brands on campaigns for MTN, ABSA, Nestlé, Kellogg’s, FNB, Vodacom, Pick n Pay, iWYZE and SAICA. Leon believes ideas can be a catalyst for change, and is therefore passionate about ideas that make a difference to the lives of South Africans. Apart from his interests in photography and painting, he is
    quite strategic in his approach to the work he does, is professional, and therefore questions everything. He holds a National Diploma in Graphic Design and a Certificate in Marketing Management.

    Lusanda is an experienced HR professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and has worked in a number of diverse industries ranging from insurance and IT to advertising and communications.

    She has worked at Energy @ Work, Holland Insurance, Radiant and Tradebridge. Her vast experience has exposed her to a number of specialised areas in HR. She moved to Riverbed as an HR Manager in 2015 and has
    been with the company since then.

    Felicity has over 10 years’ experience in both corporate and agency environments and her through-the-line capability makes her bestplaced to lead the client service department.
    She has worked on key accounts that include UNISA and Fundi and her experience has seen her lead TTL campaigns for a host of clients including Telkom, ABI, SBL and Total SA. Her responsibilities include conceptualising, planning, managing and implementing campaigns that are aligned to client and
    agency ethos.
    She works across the disciplines of strategy, branding, advertising, eMarketing and digital.
    She loves reading and writing and her personal philosophy is encapsulated in Dave Grohl’s quote, “No one is you and that is your power”.

    Sibongile’s experience spans over 13 years in the communications industry having worked in both corporate and in an agency environment. In her years of experience she has serviced clients in the petroleum industry including Engen and Shell as well as clients in the professional services field, Deloitte, Accenture and McKinsey.

    She adds value to clients by providing strategic direction and changing perceptions of organisations to its target audience. In the years she has narrowed down her expertise which is client liaison, media relation and content development. She holds a National Diploma in Public Relations Management obtained from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2004.

    In addition to his engineering qualifications, Terrence has an MBA from the Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce in which he majored in Economic and Finance.

    He moved to Dubai in 2007 to lead 3M’s Health Care Business as a Regional General Manager for the Middle East and returned to South Africa to pursue a career change in the advertising and communications field.

    He is currently the Director for Operations and Finance for The Riverbed.

    Nash joined Riverbed in February 2010. His initial focus was on customer engagement initiatives and since then he has grown tremendously, managing a number of key accounts. After events and activations was identified as a key contributor to revenue, the need for someone to lead the division arose and Nash’s competency in delivery and client service made him the right candidate.

    Nash’s promotion imbues the agency’s philosophy of Greater Good, which seeks to build great individuals from within the business.
    He’s passionate about food, cars and movies, and lives to tell unique brand stories that resonate with the target audience.

    Kurt joined Riverbed in 2015 to launch the agency’s social media division. After returning from Dubai as Sales & Marketing Manager at one of the global giants in the health & fitness industry in 2009, he decided to move into Digital Marketing at Creative Space. He completed his digital marketing qualification through Quirk Marketing, Red & Yellow Digital Marketing School and the University of Stellenbosch Business School, and then he began developing digital strategies for B2B and B2C brands alike.

    Kurt is passionate about all things tech and he possesses a deep understanding of the digital marketplace. This has led to the successful conceptualisation and implementation of social media strategies for a number of brands across many industries.

    Marianne holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree, a B. Compt (Hons) CTA and qualified as a CA(SA) in 2002. She has been The Riverbed Agency’s Financial Manager since April 2014.

    Marianne’s wealth of experience acquired whilst working in the private sector for more than 15 years has allowed her to develop a strong financial acumen and the ability to take initiative. She is continuously strengthening
    and aligning the financial function with the Agency’s core mission.
